Decorating with Throw Blankets

As temps start to dip and winter storms gather, now is the perfect time to invest in cozy blankets for the whole house.  Movie nights at home and chilly morning snuggles are all made better by plush alpaca, dense cashmere, or  soft cotton.  Blankets belong lots of places besides the bedroom, and provide the perfect accessory for comfortable living, plus look fabulous doing so.

For the best effect, fold the blanket in at least thirds and drape it longways along the foot of the bed for a tailored look. Fringe should always hang to each side, not along the foot of the bed.
